Why is English the most important class in your college career? Is it?
Any job requires command of the English language.
SWE-
Language = expression/communication- Language gets you what want.
English is the keys to the kingdom.

Connect: to place in relationship to something else
Compare: to point out similarities.
Contrast: to point out differences.
Clarify: to make clear.
Classify: To arrange in like groups.
Distinguish: to tell the difference b/t two things.
Define: to determine essential qualities.
Explain: to make understandable.
Elaborate: to tell more.
Evaluate: to determine the worth
Interpret: to put in other words
Identify: to name
Predict: to point out a future occurrence
Summarize: to tell in a short version.
Synthesize: To combine.
5. HW- Essay-
How have you found that thinking carefully has helped you in your life? Provide an introduction, example/s, and a conclusion. MLA format.

7. If you have +3 absences, you’ll likely earn a C.
